Nah he's too valuable where he is.

Honestly, I think they need to use Zavion out of the backfield a lot more this year. He’s a great gadget player

Another good option.

J. Watkins in the backfield is a matchup nightmare. If he can crease one he’s gone.

Okay, 2 back sets with Jelani or Berry opposite Cade sounds fricking diabolical. I like it.

Myles Jack did a good job in both roles.

JuJuan Johnson you know the drill.

Zavion or Watkins are both good for a play here and there but that doesn't fix the issue of what happens if Durham gets hurt. Neither of those guys are going to handle more than 5 snaps per game in the backfield and they would likely only be able to run very specific plays back there. If Durham gets hurt you become completely dependent on Kaleb Jackson turning the corner. It's unlikely that you can count on Berry to be a 3 down RB from day 1. Now you have to be careful with Durham all season bc we will all be holding our breath every time he's slow to get up. This is why it's always a bad idea to let a veteran RB walk. You can never have too much depth there.

That poor dude.
We need to settle on a position for him at some point.

as long as nobody is hurt,we're good. you dont need more than 3 backs for a single game. zavion Thomas can play rb and tbh hes probably a guy that can give you more big play potential than Lindsey. same with Watkins and Johnson. they won't be running between the tackles though

He won’t see the field.

I agree and everybody on the planet knows exactly what we are doing when the "gadget" guys come in. Not gonna fool anyone.

Has JT been released from the team??

If LSU football has to use Chavin, the football season is toast.

I don't think using Chavin for a few plays to rest our starting RB's will toast our season. Never said he would be a starter just help. Ever heard of Josh Williams?
