Zelensky rejects land swap proposal. Don't blame him. Putin continues to miss the point. LINK

The peace agreement eventually agreed to between Ukraine and Russia will involve at least some currently occupied land being kept by Russia.
Zelensky knows this.
The Europeans know this.

I don’t give a frick what Zelenskyy rejects. All it’s going to take is the ok by the US and Putin will kill Zelenskyy in 48 hours. He should tread lightly because this could be his last chance.

He's a dead man as soon as this war is over. He'll be deposed and will fall out of a window at some point within 18 months of that.

By the way, a recent poll of Ukrainians show nearly 70% of them want a negotiation to end the war as quickly as possible. I think they understand that without European and American boots on the ground, there is no chance at regaining some eastern territory lost in 2022.

Solution.
Areas under current Russian control to be under joint control for 10 years with vote for annexation to Russia (or remaining in Ukraine) held and to monitored (and verified) by the USA.

The war is keeping Russia’s economy running strong. Putin is in a win/win situation here.

If Putin wants to kill him he's going to have to beat the Ukrainian oligarchs to it. Zelensky is going to look like one of those Afghans, he'll be hanging onto the Cia plane at the Kiev airport.

We're not giving the OK for Russia to assassinate Z
Israel wouldn't let us, anyway.

The alters are out of hand. Chicken has lost control of the Political board.

Zelensky wants the war to continue so he can continue to steal. Trump should cancel the meeting. Putin isn’t serious either.

Zelensky spouts off just before Putin and Trump talk all the time to try and negate any progress. I guess he'd prefer a forever war where all of his country's young people are being slaughtered.

It is far from crumbling right now but it isn't keeping the economy strong.

Zelensky knows this.
No way Putin agrees to a cease fire without acquiring some land. If Zelensky doesn't come to something agreeable, the killing continues..
