Does anyone remember the original line up in the food court when the Mall of Louisiana opened

I remember the Super Walmart being open on Thibodaux in 99.
Nicholls students would take their girl for date nights. Family would dress up just to go walk the store.
It was amazing.

There was a CC’s downstairs as well as a Le Madeline’s.
I was at Buckle in my neon green FUBU baseball jersey slinging carpenter jeans and trying to hook up with sad 6’s (ie white trash 4’s)

La Madeline was downstairs from the food court.
I don’t remember all the names. Upstairs you had Steak Escape (poster below had the correct name). You had Louisiana something which had like fried fish and Louisiana dishes which is where I think Canes is now. Chick fil a, the Asian place, the pizza place with the long frontage. I think the smoothie place (maybe smoothie king) was there opening day
Then across the way you had the candy store directly next to bath and body works and then the pretzel place next to it.

Was there a Sarku Japan? That seems to be a staple in every food court

Didn’t it have the corn dog place where employees wore the dumb hats or did that come later?

No, that’s where Ashley Banks worked on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The Arzi’s in there with the little old lady was the best Lebanese food I’ve had.
I remember a cafe du monde being located downstairs away from the food court

That’s true. The place I’m thinking of is Hot Dog On A Stick.
I seem to remember Mall of La having one but I’m probably wrong

That's the Corn Dog place. Their lemonade was the best.
Does anyone remember when Godchaux's had a restaurant on the second floor?

They had a chinese place that served about 6 versions of chicken that were named different things, but were negligibly different in taste.

Yes, I remember that. When it became Maison Blanche they put an ice cream or yogurt stand in the entrance on the right
