Obituary of Bill Ferschoff, Jr.
July 24th, 2025
Bill Ferschoff, Jr. was born in Homer, LA, and passed away after a brief illness in Shreveport, LA.
Bill was the best brother a girl could ever hope for. He was bright, articulate, and had a razor-sharp sense of humor. Bill also had the biggest heart. His greatest passion was LSU Football. Oh how he loved the purple and gold!
Per Bill’s request, there will be no visitation or service.
I knew Bill a long time ago, but hadn't spoken with him in years. But I followed his posts here. They were always insightful and witty. Bill was a star QB for Bastrop High in the 70s, and later played defense for LSU for a season. His claim to fame was knocking down a Vince Ferragamo pass in a LSU-Nebraska 6-6 tie game in 76. RIP

See you in that big stadium in the sky when every day is a night game. May you be remembered with fondness!
