Good deal. They are a blight on the countryside, as are solar panels.

I was watching the British Open a couple of weeks ago and you could see several windmills in the background. Ruined the scenery.

Blue whales are said as of earlier today to quit making sounds. No way offshore wind farms are the reasons right

Wanna have a fun conversation? Go talk to a farmer about these and solar farms on arable land.

We should put them up in Portland and other white liberal hives.

problem is we cant get nat gas turbines and generators fast enough to keep up with need. we need an all of the above approch. everyone on ghe lefy and right are wrong about solar wind and nat gas. we are 5 to 10 years behind on new orders for generators and turbines. MV transformers are 2 to 5 years behind depending on size.

most of the people commenting on these threads have no clue what a sad state our generation and transmission grid is in. most of the fires in cali are because the transmission system there is 30+ years past obselessance and their environmental rules prevent proper deforestation arounf HV transmission... most of our country is 15 years past that.

We need an all of the above approch right now to get us to a place where we can educste the people and move to the best current technolgy, neuclear. until fusion or zero point is allowed to be used by the powers that be ( do not doubt these technologies exist and are suppressed because there is no profit) we need to do what we have to to keep our standard of living where we in the western world want it and do not devolve to being even more third world than the biden administration broight us....

We need someone manufacturing more massive transformers like in the past. Mom and Pop businesses can handle the smaller ones. They aren't rocket science.

Might as well as anywhere else as Portland and Seattle aren’t doing anything remotely relevant anyway

wind is the dumbest of "green energy". It takes too much wind needed to actually get any electricity. I have passed many a wind farm on very windy days just standing still
