Was just looking at their portal haul… they officially brought in 4 transfers & lost 9 to the portal.
How is this possible?
Roster
ETA: updated, they had 136 last year

They do have 5 “super” seniors i.e. played in 2020

And Mel Kiper has all 126 going in the 1st round of the draft!

A reporter recently asked Dabo how many players were on the team and he said 153

They can only play with one football.

SEC does 105. No one would rather play in the ACC.

There must be some rollover into that.
LSU has 111
Florida has 120
*I would assume they aren’t kicking walkons to the curb, so they can choose to stay on the team with remaining eligibility

I listened to a Dabo press conference last week. He was asked about this and said all schools had be down to 110 or 105 the week before the first game. Until then, he said former walk ons could stay with the program and go thru camp if they wanted to.

Interesting. Must be different rules between SEC & ACC
ETA: here’s the rule exemption I saw

the NCAA's new roster limit rules include legislated exemptions for current athletes with remaining eligibility, ensuring they will not lose their roster spots if their teams must constrict to fall within the House settlement's outlined roster sizes. This, in effect, "grandfathers" them in while schools adapt over time to the new regulations.

Yet they’ve got a WR as RB1

and they all run sub 4.3 according to Gary Danielson

85 scholarship isn’t the limit though (105?)? They don’t show who is and isn’t on scholarship at UF.

Technically 105 is the “roster” limit if SEC/NCAA is enforcing that this year (25-26). Unlimited scholarships for the roster

They can only play 11 at a time.

They can only play 11 at a time so who cares.
