Don’t follow it as close but did see this drama OK vs Texas West:

Some drama at the LLWS Southwest Regional (Oklahoma vs. Texas West), as the Umpires stop play for a ruling from the Tournament Director on a baserunner stealing signs/tipping location... first pitch after the ruling, a go-ahead Grand Slam by Tulsa's Casen Baucom.

And then saw this after they went extra innings:

quote:

Allen Stiles @The_StilesFiles This Texas West vs. Oklahoma Little League World Series elimination game is wild. Texas had a man on 3rd, 1 out, bottom 7th (extra innings), coach tries to get cute, sends runner when the pitcher turned around, gets hosed. They are now down in the 8th 12- 6, unreal.

OK won 12-9

Louisiana is in this bracket and looking good, they play Texas East today.

I can’t get into it. And it’ll be on for the next month every day it seems like.

I don't remember sign stealing, in that fashion, being illegal. But I do not know Little League rules..

Louisiana about to lose. As they should. Pitcher can’t wear his hat correctly.

Now 7-5. I think I confused 2 outs with 2 runs. Can LA hang on?

So I take it that loss by OK on Friday put them in losers bracket. And which TX?

Means LA doesn’t play until Tue finals. Hard to get good facts the link I use requires signup to get more than basics and its not worth my time

Hope for nothing but the worst for any Scott Frazier led organization.

Surprised he didn't step in and take over as the head coach once he realized they were going to be good. He's great at only coaching the good teams and passing the worse ones off to someone else within the org.

ETA: and before anyone says it, no, he did not cut my son from a team

Sounds like your son was cut from the 2019 team

Scott does a good job running Eastbank little league. Cleary, it’s a 1st class organization

It was basically the only little league in the largest metro area in the state. Last year was the first year anyone else competed with him and he lost.

He had been trying to do this for 15 years and in 2019 he finally was able to recruit kids from neighboring parishes and won a title in a tournament that doesn't have as much talent as your average Cooperstown weekend. The whole "east bank" thing is hilarious.

He's a 1st class douchebag. I have held these beliefs for 20 years, and from what I've been told, I have only been proven right
