It seems like religions that teach to be forgiving and loving shouldn't mind, and I am looking at all religions.

I feel sad for them.
Eternal separation from God can be a real thing.
The Bible teaches to love everyone.
Religion is going to send a lot of people to hell.

No.
As long as they’re not militant about it and intruding on the rights of others to believe as one sees fit.

Are they just going about their business not believing in God?

Or are they actively attacking other faiths (disrupting services, lawsuits against displays or public prayer, etc.)?

I agree with this wholeheartedly, but religions do the same in reverse. I want to make it clear i DO NOT condone violence in any form.

Why would I be mad? More like Sad. If they want to spend eternity in hell, that's their choice.

Being an atheist requires thinking critically about the world, and I’ll always respect people who put in the time and effort to decide how they want to live their life. They might have reached a conclusion that differs from my own, but at least they have tried reaching one.

Religious people who skew God into a being that enables their own selfish behaviors are way, way worse than someone who lost their faith.

That’s rich in this thread

Feel sorry for their impenetrable lack of amazement of life and its design.

Admire the logic and gall to question the man made nature of religions, hold mirror up to all religions in this context.

I get more “mad” at the blindly, over religious than an atheist.

Frankly, people really shouldn't know much (if anything) about another's faith/religious practices.

Proselytizing in any form (unless requested) is pretty damned annoying.

Two things I will not discuss with anyone even family are politics and religion.

I don't associate with anyone who would admit being an Atheist.

Nothing against them and Nothing for them.

Personally I'd hate to be on my death bed with that title.

I think this is becoming more difficult to parse due to religion and politics being so intermingled. My being an atheist has absolutely no impact on my political beliefs. If I take a position on an issue, I have to defend that position on its own. However, I’ve had “policy debates” with people in the past who, once they had nowhere left to turn logically simply fell back to “well, ultimately it’s for/against my religion, so nothing can change my mind on the issue”. Should that person’s religious beliefs still be considered inviolably personal?
