Trumps crypto policies will transform finance

Crypto is still in its infancy stage. The new regulations will allow companies to actually use cryptos for their designed purposes and will unleash innovation.
To put this announcement into perspective, Jamie Dimon, Chase's CEO while speaking at an investor conference over seven years ago called Bitcoin a "fraud" and "worse than tulip bulbs". At the time Bitcoin was priced at $4,161.27.
This is just another baby step, but I think people will start to notice. I expect Schwab and Fidelity to make moves by next year.

Way too much for me to cover but I would suggest you do some research.
But to start it will greatly reduce fees for money movement/payments from buying a cup of coffee to moving billions oversees, everyone can benefit from this. Also, it will free up trillions of $$ tied up in nostro/vostro accounts around the world and let that money be put to work. It will greatly increase liquidity around the world.
Then you get into trade finance, tokenization of all types of assets and cutting out the middleman etc.
"Crypto" is more than Bitcoin, it covers a huge gamut. It will eventually touch every corner of finance.

The ability to move large amounts of currency instantaneously.

It also greatly enhances dependency on electricity and Internet for commerce. I wonder who controls those?

Adoption will skyrocket. Major banks and brokerages moving, ETFs, PayPal etc. It will be everywhere.
Hopefully they get the $600 de minimis tax exemption for Bitcoin and crypto transactions passed, since tax implications can deter people and are a general headache.

Doesn’t the entire sex trafficking industry run on crypto?

So, like debit/credit cards and online banking now? You think you can go do any banking when the internet/power is out? "They" also control the gasoline distribution systen and the roads so you might as well get rid of your vehicle and get a horse.
Seriously, no one is taking away your cash. Relax, it is all part of progress.

I'm not involved in sex trafficking so I'm not sure, but I've seen reports that USD cash is the preferred medium of payment for most illegal activity. Do you think we should get rid of cash if that is true?

What's the percentage of cash/physical gold you currently have and use vs your wealth in banks or financial institutions?

Optional crypto is great. The crypto blowhards don't want it optional. They want everything to go crypto.

I was under impression cryptocurrencies operated on blockchains meaning every single transaction is recorded. You can’t track cash.
