I ordered a couple of sets for 2 different pistols.

ordered some for a Sig 1911 that I didn't like the grips. also have a S&W model 60. It had the original wood grips. Absolutely horrible to shoot.

The 1911 grips are basic Tactical Slants. Texture is way better than the originals

The J-frame are wrap around VZ operator 2. These are the ones that I'm making the post about. Lots of people have this gun and as I said, with the factory grips it sucks to shoot. These new grips are outstanding. Can't wait to shoot it.

I think I have some on my STI 10mm and maybe on my STI 45. Had mesquite wood grips on one and didn’t want to need them up so replaced with VZ grips.

I have some, but they require a little work to fit right on my 1911 and I just can't get the motivation to get it done.

I have a Springfield operator 9mm with them and I like them. The gun came with them so I really didn’t have a reference to how it would have been without them though.

I have them for my 1911, Sig P238, and Beretta 92FS. I have a set of 1911 Operator grips collecting dust, prefer the slimline Frags with the thumb scoop.

VZ grips are fine, might take a bit to get use to them. I don't think you need grips nearly that aggressive for most applications, but I have a few sets.

J frames suck to shoot, period. J frames are easy to hide and carry, that is all. Everything else about them is pretty shitty, from shooting to being overly complicated, if you need a pocket gun, that's the easiest to carry in a pocket.

I have a set on a 1911 that my BIL gave to me, they fit well with no fit issues. I primarily use LOK Grips as replacements for 1911s & .Beretta 92s. If you call with questions, the owner usually answers the phone.
