I am just a casual fan but can someone with more knowledge give a realistic expectation for this year in the Championship? Seems like they have made some solid signings that will help increase the overall talent level?

Went to Wrexham last October while I was over there for work. The team was playing away that weekend so I didn't get a chance to watch a game.

The town is great and they have some really good restaurants sprinkled throughout.

You can buy Eagle Rare at the freaking grocery store, too.

Get ready for frustration, big bastards that kick the shite out of your side, and terrible referees

I think the champo is going to be a pretty hard division this year all around

When I say big bastards that will kick the shite out of you, I literally mean a good portion of sides just have big guys play just physical to try and bully people

I really couldn't tell you but there were a lot of people (locals featured in the TV show) that said they'd need a few seasons to settle into League One and look what happened. It would be bananas if they earned another promotion.

My main question is with the players they brought in. Will this be enough to help them be competitive? I do not know enough about any of those players.

Its amazing the SUPER Paul Mullin was cast aside in League One play.

i think they will be fine with the lower 1/3, competitive with the middle 1/3, and struggle with the top 1/3. its just a different beast with there being more parity with the lower leagues, but many of these teams have all had a taste from the golden teat of the premier league and will do everything they can with similar funding a wrexham, if not more. its going to be a battle.

One of the big differences they will see is the $$$ Gap that Wrexham has compared to some of these Bigger Teams that have been in the EPL.

3 in back and coady in middle

they better score a lot of goals, they are going to bleed them.

Think it would be a massive success to finish mid table.

Expecting bottom end of the table for the first couple of months.
Going through a major roster transition and will take a few months to get things to click.
The preseason friendlies really showed the lack of cohesiveness, especially in the back three.

Patience will be key this year.

By random chance the weekend I'm in London they are playing Millwall at the Den, so I'm pretty excited about the matchup.

I will be wearing the Lion blue for obvious reasons

I honestly think they’re going to struggle, and I wouldn’t be shocked if they’re relegated. The difference in quality from national league up to league one is fairly marginal. Championship is a fricking dog fight. I’d love to be wrong, and I hope they stay up.

I just hope you boys took advantage of Amazon’s deal on the 55 gallon tub of industrial strength lube.
