2 of 3 kids are off the payroll for the most part. 1 more to go. What hobbies are ya’ll getting into? I’ve taken up golf so far and shooting.
I have 10 acres so plenty of options. I bought a $25 set of clubs at a garage sale. I can hit some on my property. I also live in the sticks with a 25’ washed out hill I use as a back stop for shooting. My drive way is .23 miles long so plenty of distance. I was thinking about archery? I don’t hunt though, so why develop those skills.
I’d love to refurbish an old bronco or Jeep jeepster commando but those prices are steeeeep. Plus I don’t have much skill in what it would take. We live in the Smokies foothills with plenty of trails to crawl. Fishing is meh.
What else?

Figured this would be first mentioned.
For sure hiking. Wife enjoys that. Tons of trails.
I have nerve damage in my right hand so nothing requiring a steady hand.

Gardening. Started with flower beds but will be incorporating veggies I think. And that’s because of my second hobby which is cooking. Obviously as a man I have always grilled and smoked meats but have really gotten into more intricate dishes in the kitchen. Really like trying authentic dishes from different cultures and doing as much from scratch as possible.
Not sure if I’d call it a hobby but the naughty time with me and the Mrs really picked up and let’s just say we have broadened our experiences.

Mountain biking. There are electric mountain bikes as well. Also, I play ping pong in a local recreational league. Being it’s indoors, you can play year round.

Swinging.
After hearing the old baws on here, it doesn’t seem like looks are too much of a factor on that side of the hill.

This would be possible. Plenty of space. Previous owners installed a water hydrant in a flat area. I think they we’re gonna use for a garden.

This is a thought. Wonder if they have a sort of training to go to. I’ll need to look into that.
