Watching the Ole Miss replay. It’s so hard to realize that the guy was on top of the world, then in legal trouble and deceased just a handful of months later.

It’s so tragic that one mistake turned into two lost lives and multiple families completely ruined. I’m not at all suggesting he was innocent or anything. It’s just crazy how his demons wouldn’t allow him to face up to what all happened.

A lot of it has to do with NIL. These kids have all this money and think the are invincible. I feel for his family, but I feel for the guys family that he wrecked into more.

Was he found guilty, or am I dreaming he was found to not have even caused the wreck he was fearful he'd be going to prison for?

It really is crazy. Was listening to Hunt Palmer today and he was talking about TM7 and his journey from being at the top of the world at LSU, to getting kicked off the team and almost having his life completely derailed, only to redeem himself and learn from his past and I couldn’t help but think of Kyren Lacy. TM7 might not even be alive today if he didn’t commit to changing himself as a person. It’s a shame that Kyren Lacy couldn’t do the same.

PP7 had a lot to do with TM7 staying on the right path. TM7 would be good to have on staff in some capacity just to help those who are troubled.

A lot of people are not understanding that for 60k (which most the average SEC player gets now easily) you can get a Corvette that is now a mid engine supercar that can hit 100 in a few seconds. Giving those out like candy should surprise no one that kids with little to no driving experience are getting in wrecks every other day

Well the truth hurts. Like I said. I feel for both families.

You have to be one of the newer stupidest posters ever. Every take you have is some mix of nonsense.

I was making $3.35/hr - no NIL deal - and driving like a complete loon. Albeit, I was 15+ range, attributing shite to NIL is the most low intelligence conclusion.

It’s not about NIL. Do you see Whit Weeks, Garrett Nussmeier, or Steven Milam doing 90 in a 40 zone and pointing guns at family? Fact of the matter is Lacy was a bad apple from the rip. Like you said, truth hurts.

You sound as lost as Joe Biden debating Trump. Nobody can understand a word you are trying to say.

Da fuq?

Politics have broken the politards trolls brains.

Easily I called you stupid and you attributing bad choices to NIL is a testament to that.

People have made bad choices forever - including myself and friends and had nothing to do with money.

Players have been paid forever and many, many players get paid NIL legally now and don't kill other people and/or themselves.

But your contention is that NIL is a contributing factor. Enjoy that Devry education, Forrest.

Not sure it’s a feeling of invincibility as much as it is kids who are still mentally immature being able to afford cars and go places that put them at risk in certain situations.

When I was young I can remember my Dad not being in favor of my purchasing an IROC Z. I’d worked 4 years, saved my money and was finally able to do so. He told me I wasn’t mature enough for a car like that. One night after I purchased it I wrapped it around a telephone poll trying to impress a girl.

Daddy, as usual was correct.

No idea why you’re getting downvoted. An entitled “kid” who didn’t give a shite about rules on the field and obviously off the field, flat out killed someone because of his selfishness.

I have zero sympathy for him and limited sympathy for the family that raised him.

I still pray for all loved ones involved. So yes, it still bothers me too. I refuse to dwell on the bad things. I simply pray for all of the loved ones.
