LSU is going to win the National Title

That’s it, that’s the thread. Have whatever I’m drinking. Drink the koolaid. Get on this ship or hop off.
Heisman winning QB in Nuss. His deep ball, decision making, and redzone offense will take a huge step up.
Run game comes alive with Sophmore Durham, and an injection of talent with Berry. Atkins will help with the run scheme.
Most talented overall group of WR’s in the country. Anderson, Hilton, Anderson, Brown. 4 top tier WR’s.
Offensive line is my only concern, but lots of young talent and depth now. Moore, and Thompson provide experience and quality. Davis, and Adams are both going to be studs, and not thrown into the fire. Chester can move all over.
Lethal Weapon Trey’Dez Green at TE. Matchup nightmare.
Sloan now has more experience.
Best Defensive Unit in a long time. Baker is a great DC, and finally has the horses to showcase that. We will be able to wreak havoc defensively as a unit.
Best D-line from a talent and depth standpoint in awhile. Gooden, McKinley, Breaux. Edge Rushers galore. Edges will feast this season. Payton, Pyburn, Butler etc.
The LB room is loaded in my eyes. Weeks coming back (best pure LB in the country IMO) Perk returning from injury, and a young talented Keys. One of the biggest issues the defense faced last season was mobile QB’s. Reed and Milroe feasted and we had no answer. Perkins can spy the QB and is a matchup nightmare defensively.
The Secondary is loaded in my eyes. Some unproven commodities, Pickett, Spears, Woodland, but oozing with talent, as well as experienced playmakers. Cooley, and Haulcey are game changers in the secondary. Stamps will hold his own. I expect Woodland to do the same. Pickett has a chance to be one of the best freshman in the country, and Spears by all accounts Is ready.
This Defense is ready to feast and wreak havoc. I think LSU will be able to get after the QB this season, stuff run games, and force and create turnovers.
If Nuss does what I think he does, and the run game improves along with Sloan, this could be the best offense in the country. I believe this defense can be top 10-20 in the nation by season’s end.
Kelly has assembled the roster. We have good coaches even if some don’t want to admit it.
Pull out the Koolaid, sniff that sunshine. LSU is marching all the way to Title Town at season’s end. Bookmark it. No room on this train if you’re not bought in.

I think we can win it all, BUT as another person alluded to in a separate thread, Nuss must - absolutely must - scramble and sometimes run it to pick up a first. IF he does not, we’ll lose 3 or more games and miss the playoff.

Last year you predicted that 9-3 was LSU’s floor and that USC would go 9-3 or 10-2 and that Miller Moss was a fantastic QB after they beat us.

Yeah that was a pretty shite prediction that turned out wrong for me about USC, but it happens. I’ve been right and wrong before on sports predictions, just as we all have. To say “I’ve had a lot of wrong predictions” and provide one example of me saying USC would be good last year seems seems like a stretch. This is a sports board with a bunch of people talking sports. By your logic everybody here is wrong a lot and maybe that’s true. I said LSU would win the Natty in Baseball before the year started too. Nullifying your one example with one of my own.
None of that matters, Tigers still winning the National Title this year.

I think you’re misconstruing what I said. I didn’t say you’re dumb or always wrong, I simply explained why I’m not going to blindly believe you when you say LSU is going to win the natty. I think you have a lot of good opinions as well.

Speaking of baseball, you also thought Jared Jones would hit .350 with 30+ HR and be drafted in the 1st round.
Look I never said you can have takes or make predictions or that you are always wrong. I just think you are extremely optimistic with many of your predictions and I take more of a wait and see approach. You seem unhappy that I’m not fully convinced that LSU is going to win the national championship because of your post on TD..

With the playoffs now you can have a team with 2-3 losses get in with an opportunity to win national title. Historically, that was not the case.
