If Nuss doesn’t live up to the expectations for this season and doesn’t play well the games that count, will BK sit him and bring Hurley in? Kelly is going all in for this season, so why would he be opposed to switching QBs if Nuss doesn’t perform well?

Why would BK bring in Hurley, who has never played and missed the spring because of injuries suffered in an auto accident, instead of the guy who started 7 SEC games last year?

In case Nuss fricks up and lays an egg against defenses with a pulse?

I’d just like to contribute the time that Saban benched Hurts in the NC for freshman Tua and ended up winning the game. I swear only Saban can get away with shite like that

Good Lord it’s not even the first game and he wants the backup quarterback in.

And he doesn't even know who the actual back up QB is.

What are the expectations?

He had the second-most single-season passing yards, behind only Joey B's 2019 season.

If he's on pace for the 4th best, do we pull him?

How about you give it 3 or 4 games before you pull the QB most have tabbed as one of the two best QBs in the NCAA this upcoming season.

July 21st was a lot earlier than I expected to see threads clamoring for the backup qb.

Well if the Nuss that won't ever run the fricking ball when it's 3rd and 5 to go and has a wide open field in front of him OR the Nuss that throws deep passes ever other play into quadruple coverage then I too want to know who the backup QB is.

If Nuss plays like he did against Ole Miss last year we have no shot at winning the SEC

I had a dream that Nuss got hurt against Clemson and Van Buren came in and pulled out a win in a nail biter. This seemed to be Clemson's plan to rough him up because LSU does not have a proven QB except for MSU's Van Buren with SEC experience.

I threw the ball with my son on the field at Tiger Stadium a couple months ago after his flag football game there. I have more experience playing QB in Tiger Stadium than 98% of this board so I'm confident that I am just as qualified to be a backup QB for LSU this year.

It’s ride or die with Nuss as it should be.
