The defending National Champs in college baseball will play in Jacksonville against Notre Dame, Indiana and UCF February 20-22. The JAX College Baseball Classic details regarding the schedule have not been shared on their site (jaxcbc.com). It was announced by On3 on their UCF site.

Interesting
Wonder if they decided to skip the Round Rock Classic in 2026
I can't imagine they would play both in the same year

the same group runs the Frisco, Round Rock, Vegas and Jacksonville Classics so maybe they swapped out

I guess they are still doing Round Rock, but the weather that time of year should be better in Florida than in Texas for sure. Frisco TX weather was amazing and we got very lucky this year that it was warm.

That or FloSports.. which can be very hit or miss depending on the venue and is like $30/mo.

We were announced to play in Round Rock a few months ago. Wonder what happened with that? The field in Round Rock is actually better.

The way the selection committee emphasizes RPI, I could see LSU playing in both. Especially if Jay was unable to find an opponent that wouldn’t hurt the RPI, or if someone backed out of a scheduled home series like this past season. This is assuming the Round Rock tournament is Feb 27-March 1.

True
He might be having trouble getting teams to come play at the Box like last season

Both tourneys give you three quality opponents

Round Rock and Jacksonville are played on the same weekend so if we are now in Jacksonville, they moved us from Round Rock. Both are hosted by the same group so I can see them moving us around. Hopefully 2027 will be Vegas!

Maybe we’ll finally get a midweek game vs FSU, I know they’ve been trying to schedule it for a couple of years.

Are you certain they are the same weekend?
I haven't seen the schedule for either one of these for 2026 but this year 2025 I think they were on different weekends.

This was announced last February by several local media outlets, including WBRZ (no dates published):

LSU will travel to Round Rock for a baseball weekend in 2026.

It was announced over the weekend that the Tigers will take on Baylor, Southern Mississippi, and Oregon State in the Karbach Round Rock Classic next spring.

Peak Events
The company that puts on these tournaments lists Jacksonville and RR both for Feb 20-22, 2026.

These classics are becoming more and more common. I like it except the lack of tv access.

Would be great if Biloxi or Nola had one. I’d do 3 Big10 teams vs 3 SEC teams. Would love to bring down Nebraska Iowa and Michigan for example. Let them get a taste of real baseball.

Does LSU no longer have interest in the one in Houston? I know it’s no longer Shriner’s, but it’s always had great competition.

Jay already indicated they were going back to Round Rock so they either switched to Jax Classic or is it possible UCF has their year mixed up

they don't usually announce teams that far out though

either one should be a good event
