In our face corruption at every turn is now normal behavior for the elite and political class. Next level over brazen using a middle finger right in our faces and laughing.

And until there are real consequences for their actions they will only get bolder.

Until folks are in jail this is meaningless.

This basic premise is something the Epstein bros never grasp, nothing will ever happen legally for powerful politicians except Trump. The only thing that would come out of an Epstein public hearing is hours of Trump hysteria and media gushing. No new information, nothing of substance, and no prosecutions. Nothing but months of distractions and drama by the Left with the enthusiastic support of apparently a small percentage of MAGA fools/Establishment Republicans

OK, But I was referring to the Russia Hoax election interference that this thread is about. Weird tangent.

A certain someone claimed that Obama would be trying to claim Kenyan citizenship before this was over. Well, he was just accused of treason.

I'm reading the report right now. Here is what they assessed on September 1, 2016:
And here is the kicker:
quote:
We judge that foreign adversaries do not have and will probably not obtain the capabilities to successfully execute widespread and undetected cyber attacks on the diverse set of information technologies and infrastructures used to support the November 2016 US presidential election.
quote:
The most likely cyber threat to the election is from low-level, detectable, cyber intrusions and attacks that cause localized disruption but do not threaten the overall functionality of the election services or infrastructures.
And here is the kicker:
quote:
We further assess that foreign adversaries are more likely to focus election-related cyber operations on undermining the credibility of the electoral process than on clandestinely manipulating the vote outcome through cyber means.

This must be such a difficult time for you. Are you ever going to be able to recover from the tumble you took when the WSJ rug was pulled?

Yeah but they’re Ds and black so it’s ok.

The Fox article from which this OP's tweet is sourced LINK is not as wild as the headline, as usual.
The original Russia investigation was about "interference", like making up fake Facebook and Twitter accounts and posting fake news. But the Fox article makes it seem like the Russia investigation was about hacking voting machines. The reporter says there are newly declassified documents saying the Intelligence Community under Obama assessed that Russia did not hack voting machines, but was engaged in psychological operations.
So the article seems to be implying that the "treasonous plot" was going forward with the Russia investigation knowing that Russia had not successfully hacked voting machines, when that was never what the investigation was about. Special Counsel Mueller was tasked with investigating Russian interference broadly speaking, and found that Russia had interfered. See Report. Here's a quote from the Special Counsel's report:
quote:
"As set forth in detail in this report, the Special Counsel’s investigation established that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election principally through two operations. First, a Russian entity carried out a social media campaign that favored presidential candidate Donald J.
Trump and disparaged presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Second, a Russian intelligence service conducted computer-intrusion operations against entities, employees, and volunteers working on the Clinton Campaign and then released stolen documents. The investigation also
identified numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump Campaign. Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities."
