Why don't phone browsers provide copy image URL option?

It's so fricking annoying. At best I can "open image in new tab" but not providing that as an option reeks of micro management.
This started when they refused to disable the camera sound when trying to take a pic years ago and had gotten steadily worse with refusing to allow you to take screenshots inside of certain apps.
I fricking hate it because so these things can be worked around is just annoying as hell to have to jump through multiple hoops to do basic shite.

Android 15/Brave (and last time i checked, Chrome provided the same dropown)
i
none of these provide a link to the image URL.
i have to 'open image in new tab, then go to the URL, select-all then copy that.

And in most cases you have to do it twice (if you're trying to post it on TD) . Like the picture you send above.

Thats is not the same drop down as Chrome.
But I would imagine "Share Link" or "Share Image" is what you are looking for in that menu (assuming that is not a copyable link cropped out of your screenshot).

If you just click “Copy” or “Copy Image”…
Does it not give you the direct link if you paste that somewhere the image itself can’t be pasted?
I just tested and it works fine for iPhone with the photos in this thread.

Is it not "Copy Image Address" on that menu??

i'm pointing out you dont get that option on cellphone browsers.

I have an old Samsung using Firefox and think it only take a couple clicks to do what you are trying to do.
Long press the address box
Click 'share'
Click 'copy url'
edit since your whole thread is confusing:
For an image instead of webpage address, I get 'copy image location' when long pressing, which captures the url address.

Is this your phone browser below? If so it should be "Copy image with link". Either way, this appears to be a you problem.

I did that. It doesn't work

I have the same issue as well.....for the last couple of years maybe. I get a url but it doesn't include a jpeg or other image extension and so doesn't work on TD or other sites. I just download and host it. It's an issue on all browsers I've tried.

OP this annoyed me to no end then I found a workaround.
Press and hold the image.
Copy image
Open Google in a new browser
Go to the Google search field and paste
It should paste the image URL. You can copy from there.

Bruh this isn't some big brother illuminati shite. Just bc you can't figure it out in your lower tier browser doesn't mean Th3y'Re ConTroLlinG Our FoNeS. I can easily do what you want in Chrome on Android as outlined above.

Brave is chromium based so it should be the same codebase and what you described didn't work so I'm not sure what your point was.
You are defending an overtly complicated procedure that should be a simple click and copy like on a PC.
You still haven't admitted I'm right and this is a clusterfrick.
I just want to right click and get a "copy image address" link that gives me the url of the image ending in .jpg or whatever so I can paste it into a TD image tag.
The end. Should be easy as frick.
That simply doesn't exist on phones no matter how much you talk around the issue and it's retarded af it's not an option.
