Is anyone else annoyed that we been asking him to shoot 3s and now he’s saying he’s going to shoot them with Toronto?

Nope, not annoyed w BI. Not going to do that homer shite where I like a guy while he's here and then randomly hate him when he's gone. That's a rent free mindset. Free yourself baw.

He said he was gonna shoot more threes here and didn't do it. Gotta see it to believe it tbh

It’s same old… talk it up bollocks.

He’ll play well… he’ll have a few of 40pt games and some eye watering stats… he’ll then get injured for 1/4 of the season…

That’s who BI is… a very good player who loves the medical staff.

I don’t mind that he’s not here… just very annoyed that we got the square root of frick all in return, which borders on negligent.

Not his fault big boy missed 60% of games and BI was forced on ball the majority of the time. He's a fine spot up 3 baller, but not necessarily off the dribble. He was more comfortable when we had Lonzo or even Zion initiating off-season to get him good looks. I've got nothing bad to say about BI. He was cast as the 2. Unfortunately he had to be the 1 and the 2 at times due to the failure of our 1, to be a 1.

Hope he hoops well in Toronto. He provided us some good times and memories, that might have been even better and more meaningful had Z ever been available even just one time down the stretch of a season that mattered.

The contested middies got old but mainly BI needs to stop being so brittle and he'll do well anywhere

He changed his shot profile for us last year and took more 3s

He... He did shoot more 3's. After y'all said it was impossible and bitched liked children.

But now that he did I guess people would just rather forget so they can support their stupid arse opinions.

I'll support y'alls ignornce "BI didn't shoot more 3's last year and BI won't get $40mil".

There continue this stupid arse thread based on bullshite lies.

Also they just released this to hype up the team. You will see the same BI from last year just playing more than 18 games.

I wish BI nothing but the best.

If he plays all 82 games and shoots 45% from 3 on 10 attempts per game and makes the All Star Game, I will be happy for Brandon.

This Pelicans team makes me "annoyed" enough. People who consistently complain about the success of Dyson are the worst. Let's not do the same about a hypothetical Brandon Ingram season.

Exactly what I was thinking, he will shoot threes in the 2/3 of the season he plays if that.

He's not going to do that if he has the ball in his hands. He can say he will, he won't.

Problem was, he did it at the expense of going to the rim, so the end result was him actually being less efficient as a scorer overall, despite taking more 3s and shooting 37% on those 3s.

He took by far a career low 11.7% of his shots at the rim, so no more easy buckets. And that also meant no more free throws. Ingram's FT Rate was between 29% and 39% every year of his career until last year, where it was 16.5%

No, because he shot them here. BI did what he was asked to do.

I think that was more due to lack of health around him to take the pressure off.

His body isnt built for attacking the rim.

Problem was

That he only played 18 games. Your explanation is based on an 18 game season, we do not know if he would have ended up less efficient through the whole season.

The only thing I know for a fact is that he doubled his 3's taken and anyone who says otherwise is full of shite.

What we really probably should have done is traded Zion for an all star center, kept BI, and started Trey at PF.

Griffin's biggest failure as an executive was not getting a Raptors 1st round pick. That team will finish bottom 10 for the next 5 years.

BI didn’t want to be here. We offered him 4/160 and he declined. He accepted 3/120 with Toronto instead.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of BI and thought his play making was getting better. But if you saw his games, you saw how he passed up a couple wide open shots and rather pass it or go for the mid range. Most of those 3s made were around the end of the shot clock.

Because, as has been pointed out, Zion got fat and Dejounte got hurt so he had to play mostly on-ball.
