So, Oakmont bans Clark for being an idiot and damaging the locker room. Of course, there are stipulations like paying for the damage, apologizing, and donating a set amount to a charity of the club board's choosing.

Of course Clark will do it just to save face. He's already apologized.

But, it begs the questions... assume he doesn't do that and the Open goes back to Oakmont while he still has an exemption to play. What supersedes? The ban they have, or his legit right to play?

He’s an insane person and one of the most out of touch golfers in the game. Dude had one nice run for a year and thinks his opinion carries weight in the game. Can’t wait for this guy to return to mule status

He doesn't have a legit right to play there if the facility banned him. He shouldn't have thrown his little tantrum. Act like a professional and not a toddler.

Any normal individual would have paid to repair the locker and that would have been the end of it.

The fact that a millionaire didn't pay for damages he created simply blows my mind. I honestly can't hate him enough.

They are also requiring that he get anger management classes. A step too far by the club IMO.

He clearly needs them. He’s had several unmitigated outbursts.

And he’s free not to return if he doesn’t want to

Surely there’s a difference between confusion and asking for extra info.

In this case, you are in fact confused lol
