In the former Opies, 2 spots from Podnuhs
Holy hell
Forget canes, forget Zaxbys
Best chicken tenders hands down
Large pieces, 3 of theirs is about 6 of canes “tenders”
They have a little kick to them as well. Several sides but ive gotten mashed potatoes and brown gravy both times ive been. Comes with a roll or biscuit
Bbq sauce is a cup of Sweet Baby Rays
So damn good
They also do drive thru daiquiris- didnt know that was legal in EBR? But they advertise it and it was in the BR Business Report so they arent hiding it

It's one of the strangest Louisiana loopholes ever. Just gotta keep the straw out and it's not open container.

Fun Fact. I was part of the original lobby coalition and the law initially, required the server/ business to place tape across the straw hole and the straw "HAD" to be in a paper wrapper.
MADD was none too happy about it.

If its the same owners as the one in New Roads, don't skip the banana pudding. The one in New Roads is always good.

Love their fried chicken and will drive out my way to the long route to the camp just to pass and grab. Good stuff and very nice people.
