Trump going down by his own hand…

The GOP, including Trump and his son, much of his cabinet, his VP, etc are the ones that have talked up Epstein.
If anything, the Dems have downplayed and avoided it.
Now Trump says it’s a democrat conspiracy like Russia-gate, etc.
This is the most head-scratching political flip-flop (and justification) I ever remember.
He’s over-estimating his base’s willingness to be relativists. Huge strategic mistake.
Out of all of the lies, assassination attempts, scams and political hit jobs he’s avoided, he’s going to ruin himself by his own hand.
I never would have guessed this outcome.

Vance is in an interesting spot.
He is by far the frontrunner but he's got to walk a fine line between pissing off his boss and separating himself from Trump's position on things like this.
