Eyanson may be wanting more than teams want to pay or he will just come back to LSU to improve his position if he doesn’t get it

If he comes back, it would be absolutely EPIC.

C'mon, AE. Tell the bigs to pound sand. Come back and command even more green next year.

no he isn’t. He could get drafted 4 rounds from now and still get a bigger bonus than he could make in NIL here. I’d love it to happen, but Eyanson is gone.

Got to think a team that’s gone under slot so far will have some cash to spare for him when he gets picked

Who knows?!

Not everyone is motivated by the same thing.

IF he comes back, maybe it’s because he wants a chance to be THE guy, not 1A or 1B

Odds are he leaves, but man it would be nice to have him back next season

Shores going top 50 and Eyanson not even mentioned yet as a draftee is really optimistic for LSU. If he runs it back and carves up the SEC again, the consistency could negate the lack of frame size the MLB has proven to love.

U think he would go pro and not get paid a whole lot ? I'd stay in college after not getting called in 45 plus picks

Once selected late like this and you sign , you give up the opportunity for big bucks next year. He should come back. The difference in nil money and signing for late round money is not much.

Ya'll think we are paying $900k, annually, for baseball players?

Bonus pool money at pick 87:

87. Red Sox: $907,200

That is not true at all man his negotiating leverage is the option of going back to school, seniors get notoriously fricked in negotiations because they don’t have that option

With how much impact the MLB draft has on LSU baseball I’m surprised how many of our fans don’t know how it works

Then there’s this poster who very loudly doesn’t understand
