According to AirHelp

Top:

SLC
LAX
MSP

Bottom:

EWR
FLL
PHL

I agree with #1 in both categories.

As for best international airports, they don't even have Changi in Singapore in their Top 10

How is FLL ranked below MIA? It’s way better. I call bs on LAX, too.

Agree, so many better airports in the US than LAX. Hell Detroit is better than LAX.

The travel board should do our own list

NOLA doesn’t do a whole lot right but I must say MSY is a pretty nice airport. Just flew through IAH-frick that place. And agree MCO is terrible.

What would go into a Travel Board criteria?

Cleanliness
Dining/Lounges
Size/Ease of Getting Around
Airline/Flight Options
Transport (rental car/uber ease)
Proximity to Attractions/City

Denver?

I loathe Denver security lines

I have two small criticisms.

Concourses could have been like 3 feet wider. They are tight around the restaurants and gate seats.

I'm always in B terminal through there, but that corner turning into it is blind and people run into each other. Mostly because idiots entering the terminal somehow assume there isn't a million people exiting the terminal against the wall (to their right). So I guess that isn't the airports fault entirely.

Of course the rental facility situation is bottom tier.

I never rent a car therefore, I forgot all about that. You are correct. That is a major inconvenience.

MSY, DEN, and PHX are my bottom 3 when it comes to renting a car and MSY is by far the worst. 20+ min on a bus to get to it now

SLC, BNA, and MCO are my top 3. All on property and within a 100 yard walk after baggage claim.

EWR

Can anyone elaborate on what makes EWR so bad? I’m arriving in 2 weeks and I’ve never flown through there. I’ve flown into LGA but I couldn’t pass up the price of the ticket into EWR.

Better question is what makes EWR not bad... your list will be a lot shorter.

Old and decrepit
Flights always delayed
Very narrow in certain areas
Rental car train is a shitbag

Think I’ll have an issue with first flight of the day?

Nah, you should be good if out early, but mid to late morning is when the backups will begin.

After LGA's renovations, I prefer it by far to EWR for United if going to New York.

Not very stellar performance for a 6 AM flight!

You haven't had to transfer between terminals at FLL.

I was thinking out of Newark for some reason

Yeah, you won't be arriving until late morning, so that is gonna change things. But in all honesty, I'd take May's performance with a grain of salt. The runway construction was still going at that point.

That made the normal shittiness worse, so you should just be dealing with regular delays into EWR.

That’s a little more reassuring.

This. It was like being in a bus station in central America. And a bad one at that.

NOLA is an airport that doesn’t have to do much because everyone is hungover leaving. IAH needs to actually move people.IAH is easy, it I also don’t connect from BFE
