Made by Stellantis. Buyer beware.

My 71 commando is still going strong.

Probably has 3 gallons of sand in the gas tank and can’t idle long but fired up.

Unless you get a real Jeep
CJ7 owner here and there isn’t a single bad thing to say about that tank.

Looks can be deceiving. It is still a Stellantis Dodge.

This sentence makes no sense. Still a Dodge ignores the changes with the 5th Gen. Tell us the problems you've had with them.

Give us an update in 15 years and 250k miles. Not on a trade-in every 3 years and 62k miles.

I do this no matter the vehicle, so you'll have to ask someone else.

I think you are confused. Just because they put RAM on the front, EVERY GENERATION made is still a Dodge/Stellantis product. Stellantis just dropped the Dodge moniker to help with marketing.

A 3rd or 4th generation Tundra is still a Toyota.

Pretty sure yours wasn't made by Stellantis. Could have been AMC.

Then you'd probably have an opinion that a Jaguar was a fine quality car.

Not throwing shade that you have the financial ability to buy a new vehicle every 3 years.

Well actually maybe I am. frick rich ppl and their less than 3yr old cars. howbowthat?

For me, 8-10 good years is the benchmark. Anything after that is lagniappe. I drive 20k miles per year. I have no confidence in any of today’s trucks making it 15 years without major issues.

I'm no confused. I recognize the difference between the vehicles. You are clueless on this and shouldn't comment.

While they have people like you that talk a lot of shite constantly on these trucks and jeeps the facts are they are as good as anything else. I’ve had all of them and the last two jeeps I had were great.

In the last two years I’ve had two jeeps and two f150s. The f150 had the most trouble by far. One jeep had an axle seal gonna but that was one I probably caused with a lift and 42” tires

The f150 had all electrical problems you could think of. The screen would cut off and tailgate would open randomly going down the road while it went into limp mode once a week.

I got another new f150 last week and I’m going to give them another chance as all of them can have issues.

The rams are by far the nicest interiors truck to truck in my opinion. Only reason I didn’t go with one is they aren’t easily modified with the suspension set up.

I don’t see how you can go wrong nowadays with any of them outside of a bad apple here and there

my 22 Ram had the rear end go out at 37,000 miles. the warranty repair took 14 days and wasn't done correctly and still had issues. Then that crap U connect for the radio never worked right. the truck was comfortable and rode smooth and looked good, but the reliability wasn't there.

We had a few 2500 rear ends blow up between 20k and 150k. Consensus was that they were all delivered from the factory low on oil. All the ones that locked up had very little or no oil in them when they went and no signs of leaks.

Its become standard practice to check all the fluids on ram service trucks within the warranty period.
