Thinking about it, this man never really had a bad movie. Maybe they exist, but I can't think of any. What were his worst? What Dreams May Come? Hook? Popeye?

His WORST films are still really fricking good. And his good films are transcendent.

I mean...Club Paradise is stupid 80s movie about a fireman living in the Caribbean, but he chews fricking scenery with Peter O'Toole.

We give so much credit to dramatic actors that don't have a quarter of the catalog as the funny hairy man.

So sad we didn't get him as Tom Bombadil in Lord of the Rings.

What are your favorite roles of Robin Williams?

Dead Poets Society is one of my all time favorites. I was seriously heart broken when he committed suicide. I wore out the Mrs. Doubtfire vhs growing up

Hook is fun and I think he did alright with Popeye, but I don't care to watch it. Maybe it is one of his worst. I think I heard everyone was on serious drugs during the fliming of Popeye?

He was as good at drama as he was at comedic acting. Awakenings, Good Will Hunting, One Hour Photo, Insomnia, etc.

"I took the liberty of ordering you another scotch"

His delivery of that always gets me. Incredible talent for every reason.

ETA: Allegedly somewhere out there is an R/X Rated cut of Mrs. Doubtfire with all of his ad libbing. I would pay upwards of $100 for the opportunity to view it.

Let's not forget he was uncredited as the King of the Moon in Baron Muchaussen.

Saw something recently where he helped Nathan Lane dodge the gay question on Oprah because Nathan wasn’t out yet.

They were both on and Oprah asked Nathan if he was gay and Robin started on a tangent of an Oprah and a gay impression without thinking. He apparently knew Nathan was gay and was not ready to come out and jumped in for his friend.

Seemed like one of the few genuinely good dudes in Hollywood.

My favorite.

Most of his radio broadcast performances portraying Cronauer were improv. He was at his best when allowed to be improvisational.

I mean, I don't like Oprah, but Nathan Lane being in the closet is kind of like Leslie Jordan. When they came out everyone was like, "Yeah...and?"
