Disney Cruise Nassau Excursions….

What ones would y’all recommend? We have 2 13yr olds and a 5. The 13yr olds really want to do Atlantis, but the app is saying the excursion only lasts 4hrs. I don’t mind paying the money, but really want to stay longer than that.

IMO stay on the boat and enjoy the empty ship. Nassau is pretty unimpressive.

When you going baw? My kids will be on the one departing from Ft. Lauderdale Monday.
the 13 year olds will probalby like Atlantis, but it is a crowded resort with expensive activities like arcades and shopping.
I'd go snorkeling, but that might leave out your 5 YO. the island itself is pretty sad outside of Atlantis and the water.

Been to Nassau a few times.
If you like planes, the 737 sim at jetline simulation was awesome.
For food, go to the Fish Fry and and eat well.

I wouldn't book anything.
First, don't get off the ship early. The locals will HOUND that area shortly after all ashore time and wheter you have something already booked or not, they'll hound you and they're just annoying.
Wait 90 minutes or so, take a right (go west) towards Senor Frogs and just keep going to Junkanoo Beach. Rent some chairs from the locals, enjoy some beach time then walk back and stop at Pirate Republic Brewing before re-boarding the ship.

That's what we did. Not one regret.

Margaritaville right next door to the port. You can get day passes at Resort for a Day. I use them all of the time; no issues with any day pass I’ve purchased.
You can also get a pass through them for Baha Mar which rivals Atlantis.
You’ll be on your own to and from the resort, so keep a watch tuned to ship time. Taxis are plentiful on Nassau. You can walk to Margaritaville.

Are yall going next week out of Ft. Lauderdale? We’ll be on that boat and we’re looking to do something in Nassau as well. Kids 12 and 6.
eta: went ahead and booked the 4 hour. My kids will love it. I might hit the casino

7/20?
lol so now I’m thinking about doing Atlantis with the older kids, but just getting a cab back.
The last time we went we just grabbed a taxi and went around the island. Briefly stopped at Atlantis and I managed to win a few bucks

Get on the public bus for $1/person and ride to Love Beach. Rent chairs and toys from the shack on the beach where they’ll run a tab for strong rum punch, cold beer, and fresh conch fritters.

We had a great time at Baha Mar for the day. Really nice if they like water parks and feels different than atlantis. It is huge

Say hello to my wife and kids, but they don't wear LSU gear so will be hard to find.

Did this a few months ago, highly recommend. Only ports I'm interested in getting off the boat are the Disney islands

Work and it is a girls family trip. I’m very content not going.
