Why are they playing games at 10:00 & 11:00 am games on a random Tuesday and Wednesday in July? The trying to woo the Price is Right viewers?

Was thinking the same thing. These are the dog days of sports anyway. Why not have them at night?

It's a day where they bus in groups of children (mostly girls) from various camps in the area (girl scouts, etc.).
I guess they're trying to get the very young ones interested in the league.

Whereas matchups typically take place in the evening, the first three bouts of Wednesday’s slate — Storm vs. Sun, Valkyries vs. Fever, and Lynx vs. Mercury — will kick off at 11 a.m. ET, 12 p.m. ET, and 3:30 p.m. ET, respectively.
The reason? The league has taken great steps to embrace the fleeting joy of youth as of late, offering up its concourses to various summer camps.
Though, it's not wrong to assume the bad time slot was a reflection of the product but alas its due to a Charity event...kinda like every WNBA game.

Women comprise over 50% of the US population. If there was significant female interest in the WNBA in terms of fans the sport would be as popular as the NBA. Clearly there isn't...because women don't care enough to be fans

quote:Agreed. And that's what the league appears to be attempting to change. Getting them while they're still extremely impressionable seems to be the aim here, IMO.

And the MSB's obsession with a sport they totally don't care about continues. How about if you don't like the sport just don't post about it? You see people who don't like WWE or NASCAR consistently making these shitty threads about those sports?
Maybe stop being insecure and let people who actually enjoy the sport talk about it

While I agree with you, it is the MSB. They complain as much as the Karen's they hate.

I always thought the MLB's reason for doing it was mostly on getaway days, the 3rd game of a 3-game series so that the road team can get to their next destination without having to rush or fly really late at night. Is that not the case?
