Found Apple watch- Orange Beach

I just found an Apple watch in the surf in Orange Beach. I know it’s a long shot, but if someone lost it, let me know and I’ll get it to you. Just let me know what the background on the face is.

I tried a quick Google search to see how to find an owner and all I could find was to turn it over to the police. It said Apple wouldn’t give any owner details for privacy reasons.
It has a passcode, so I couldn’t figure out how to alert the owner. I’m open to suggestions. I’m sure if I turn it into lost and found at the condo, it’ll be for sale on eBay immediately.

Was it OysterPoBoy’s? Wasn’t he was at the beach a min ago taking pics- maybe he saved his “landscape photographs” as his watch screensaver

if its synced to a phone, there's an ID in there somewhere that an apple store employee should be able to match back.
at least in theory
now whether or not apple allows their store employees to get to that info is another story... keep us posted

I’ll give it a shot, but it sounds like they’re not allowed to give any info. Maybe they can take it from me and contact the owner independently though.
I’m hoping the owner has it linked to find my iPhone and they can track it. I’m still out on the beach, so it would take them straight to me.

i'm not saying give that info to the person who found it..i'm saying give it to the apple employee at the store and let them ping the owner.
whats the risk in sending the owner a text saying your watch has been found and its at store Such and Such?
