What hotel room in Baton Rouge did Keith Moon destroy?

I think a room at the Belmont on Airline Highway. He got hammered at an off-campus bar (most likely The Bayou) prior to one of their BR shows in the 1970's and the band sent the police out to look for him. He thought they were trying to arrest him and tried to run. He but fell and busted his mouth breaking some teeth in the process.

Keith Moon passed away in 1978. He was not the drummer for The Who at this concert.
I was there though.

Kenny Jones was the drummer when I saw the Who. Great show.

And 50 yrs. ago, as well. I was there, and the Meters opened for them.

I was supposed to go to that show with my friend and his brother but was grounded. My friend’s brother got free tickets through his job at a local record store. I think that was the “By Numbers” tour.

I saw them in Toronto in late July. Great show, wish I was more sober for the show, but 18 yr old me wanted none of that ;) my hs gf wasn't too happy either. Overall wasn't a good show to take a girl to, male dominant, mosh pit at time was pretty aggressive

I could say the same thing when I saw them in Biloxi in 1982.

My date was sitting on my lap when Pete Townshend hit the opening chords to this song. She almost went over the rail when I jumped up in celebration.

My mom saw Neil Diamond there too.
