He’s at 2997 and needs three more which seems likely against the White Sox

Here's the 3,000 strikeout club. Nolan Ryan holy shite! That's a record that will stand forever. One other thing that sticks out is that only two other pitchers did it for the same team - Walter Johnson and Bob Gibson. Kershaw would be the third. Pretty impressive in this day and age.

quote:

Nolan Ryan 5,714
Randy Johnson 4,875
Roger Clemens 4,672
Steve Carlton 4,136
Bert Blyleven 3,701
Tom Seaver 3,640
Don Sutton 3,574
Gaylord Perry 3,534
Walter Johnson 3,508
Justin Verlander 3,471
Max Scherzer 3,419
Greg Maddux 3,371
Phil Niekro 3,342
Fergie Jenkins 3,192
Pedro Martinez 3,154
Bob Gibson 3,117
Curt Schilling 3,116
CC Sabathia 3,093
John Smoltz 3,084

What intolerant heathen blurred out the Bible verse on his hat?

Probably WCA.

He was extremely triggered by it

Nolan Ryan wow. Another record that will never be touched. Amazing

Hell, Starters these days do good to pitch past the Sixth.

I have warmed to Kershaw over the years.

Not a huge fan of the Dodgers organization, so I usually don't pull for their players.

But the Bible verse stand has made me a fan.

Good luck tonight Clayton!

One of the GOATs regular season. A shame he’s booty cheeks when it matters in the playoffs. Hopefully the HoF recognizes this when his name comes up.

He's been solid so far before this game, but no way I would trust Kershaw in a playoff game.

And Muncy probably done for the season. Broadcast is saying they aren't going to show the replay its so bad. Throw down to third from Will Smith got the runner but the runner got Max's knee.

Kershaw just got 3000
