If or when O gets into the Louisiana HOF, will he get the warm reception Saban received?

I'm going to say yes, simply because he did guide us to a NC and put together what many believe was the best college football team of all time. O also elevated our recruiting and took advantage of every opportunity to promote LSU with his signature "'Geaux Tigers" at the end of each interview.

Not counting the covid bullshite Coach Os time as HC was fun as hell. If he gets recognized I will support it.

Hard to look past him completely fricking over the program. But I’m grateful he was the captain of tGOAT team that he engineered.

That’s no excuse for Kelly however

Why wouldn’t he? He won us a championship with a team no one including opposing fans will ever forget.

Do people really believe this shite? I see so many people say it and that NC was 100% the Joes running the offense and Aranda on the defensive side while Ed stared into space.

They should put Ed Orgeron holding the national championship trophy with that dumb arse grin in the dictionary next to “anomaly” because that’s the most extreme example of that word that I can think of. The perfect storm of random happenstances came together around one of the most incompetent HC’s in the country and now people are giving him credit for “putting together the greatest team ever”

People will always appreciate the championship he brought to LSU. Though, people will also remember how immediately after winning that championship, he tied an anvil to the program and threw it into the river. Then basically threw in the towel and waited to collect his money.

He'll get a good welcome, but it won't be like Saban. Saban took a program that hadn't won a title in 40 years, built it into a powerhouse, strapped a rocket to it and made it one of the premier coaching destinations in college football. Saban left LSU in way better shape than he found it. O left it in intensive care with 39 scholarship players

He will get an even better one.

I was at the event. Saban was treated well and practically everyone was clapping, including myself, but it was no roaring standing ovation for the most part.

He fricked over the program so bad they made it to the SEC championship game the year after he left.

He got lazy and had two losing seasons, but in no way did he tank the program.

O embarrassed himself and LSU with his nude pics on social media with girls in their 20s after 2019. Don’t ever put him in the same conversation as Saban.

Are either of the Joe’s at LSU without O?

That’s correct. They aren’t. O is the reason for 2019.

dinardo left some pretty good talent. Saban arrived with more talent on campus than O did. leslie had really screwed up recruiting both lines.
