How ironic is it to have a Tim Timple : thank you for fighting for lower insurance rates - bill board over Gordon’s office.

Paid for with our high insurance premiums no doubt.

If he was worth a flip, he mandate lower premium rates tied to tort reform. The fact he won't and insurance companies would never submit without a major fight, show that tort reform in this state is, and has always been--all talk and no walk.

PI seems to be a wealth re-distribution program in this state administered by (and profited from) PI attorneys both defense and plaintiff, doctors, insurance companies, adjusters, chiropractors, etc etc.
They donate to politicians (Republicans, who used to be against this) who protect the racket paid for by policyholders.
It could be somewhat solved, but there’s no money in solving it. Except for savings to policyholders, and, screw them, let’s blame somebody else and profit ourselves.

We have an identity crisis in this state, all these folks in the legislature are democrats, they call themselves republicans to get elected bc the dumb voters don’t know any better and refuse to hold them to account.

The only way to reduce premiums is to reduce payouts on tort claims. If “tort reform” doesn’t actually result in less money in Gordon’s pocket, torts haven’t actually been reformed.
It’s a fun game for plaintiff attorneys to claim they allowed “tort reform” and then when premiums don’t decrease because they are still extracting the same settlements as before, blame the insurance companies.

So in other words, you're saying Tort reform doesn't work..
Thanks for agreeing with me.

Everyone you mentioned hangs out together at The Country Club of Lousiana and Bocage. It is a racket.

What does Louisiana need more of;
Plaintiff attorneys or I quality insurance carriers?
Clearly we need more quality insurance carriers
Plaintiff attorneys have been allowed too much rope and we need to reign it in
