I know there is talk of adding capacity to 15-16k. What is the timeline?

I don't think you need that capacity for baseball

I know he always pronounced it "Alec", and it never made sense to me, although he said that was the correct way to pronounce it.

There is a demand.. would be nice to for a bunch of us to have the ability to pay face value, instead of 5x resale value to see a game.

Imagine over 160,00 bayou brawlers in the stands making the oposing team scared to death! It already is the best atmosphere in baseball but this would truly make it untouchable for other fanbases to reach!

Current capacity is 10,326. There isn’t any room to add another 6k seats unless they doubled up the 1st and 3rd base lines. That isn’t going to happen.

They will eventually add capacity bc the demand is there. The problem is it will go to the ones that buy them and don’t show up. Tickets are cheap and money can be made selling them on seat geek.

Feels like at this point we should focus more on quality than quantity. We’ve already got a much bigger capacity compared to most

100% agreed. It wouldn’t even be worth it to try and sell my sideline football seats if I wanted too.

These guys are making money flipping baseball tickets.

Simeon "Alex" Box was indeed pronounced "Alec".

It would fill up for certain games, and more people would go to other games. Especially if there are seats. The barrier that I experience is ticket prices or going SRO. If it were just me, I wouldn't care, but my kids aren't going to do SRO, so that's 4 seats I have to buy. Not a massive deal, but if it's a situation where i'm trying to fit the game in around my sometimes hectic schedule, it's not worth it.
