Trying to watch that Game 7 and the announce just doesn’t meet the moment. I like Breen, but having the lady and the other guy on a Game 7 is terrible.

I was a fan of Doris when she was the sideline reporter.

Last night was some of the most bland announcing I’ve ever heard. No intensity

I like Doris but she’s a Wednesday night regular season color analyst, not game 7 of the finals.

Doris is one of the best in the business.

Jefferson is ok but he is not ready for the finals. He's a very casual, almost comedic analyst, it just isn't the right style for the finals.

While I agree with a lot of that, game 7 was highest rated NBA finals game in 15 years. Nobody was tuning in for Doris, that’s for damn sure

I left the tv off until tipoff and would turn it off again for halftime.
That garbage was unwatchable

Yep. She’s not perfect, but who would you rather have in the seat? Retard Reggie Miller or Chris Webber? No thanks

ESPN fricked up letting JVG go, but I guess he was expensive

Doris is cool. Please just get Kendrick out of any pre or post game conversations. What a waste of everyone’s time.

Abort the whole panel- I’d rather have live shots of the halftime show from the arena.

She researches NBA catch phrases on Twitter and tries to use them to sound hip

She’s awful on the mic and tries to sound like a man

A social media post is circulating and it shows the broadcast of the final seconds/out of the titles from the other 3 major sports. The announcers nail the ending for the most part, despite the fact that the Super Bowl and World Series weren’t even close. The whole vibe at the end of G7 was pretty subdued. Instead of players going nuts, they just went to dap up the opposing team. Breen is usually solid, but not last night.

I think the Hali injury really sicked the life out of the arena. It was a weird game that just felt off after the injury.

I think RJ had been pretty good. If JJ was still there, I think he and RJ would have complimented each other nicely.

Any time you have Kendrick Perkins in any way, shape or form of your coverage for the marquee event in your sport, much less a forgettable mid-week game - you have to question the decision makers.

Even if you break it down to a target audience discussion I can't imagine they find anything redeeming about his input either? So many better options that could check the relates to target audience than KP it's unbelievable.

I can only imagine on the weekday carwash shows they roll their eyes when they find out they have to do a segment with Perkins.

As I've gotten older, I've started to enjoy more and more having games muted. Don't have to listen to the mindless blabber of announcers with no interesting/insightful to say and all of a sudden the ridiculous commercials are more tolerable too with no sound.

Obviously, sitting in dead silence all of the time isn't great either, but I've started enjoying just watching games without announcers more and more. I wish there was an option for just game noise only.

JVG is the goat, love his dry humor. I don’t think he was too expensive, I think his intelligent humor didn’t connect with the younger demographic.
