Looking back on it whatever happened after top of 1st between Morrison and Jordan seems to directly have led to Schnall and 1B coach coming in hot right off the bat in the bottom half.

LSU seemed to have gotten under their skin from the jump though I’m not sure if it was intentional or just CC let their emotions get the best of them.

Morrison was fussing as he was walking off the mound between innings bc it appeared he thought Jordan was tipping pitches. Jordan just ran by him without acknowledging. Morrison appeared to be really hot.

Next half inning 1B coach starts chirping at home plate ump enough so to get a warning which in turn got Schall all fired up as well.

I said the heat was going to get to him and looks like it did. LSU stayed mentally cool while the CC hot heads melted down in the sun.

They were riding high on that win streak and everything was easy. Once they faced a little adversity after losing Saturday and staring elimination in the face the lights were too bright for them. They knew they hadnt faced anything like LSU during that streak and they panicked because they saw the writing on the wall. It may have served them well if they had to overcome a little adversity and win an elimination game prior to Omaha. They weren’t mentally prepared for it

Schnall could’ve diffused the situation after his 1B coach got a warning. Instead he chose to pick up the battle against the HP ump and was tossed after at least a couple warnings to stand down. HC needs to be voice of reason in thar situation.

The head coach got his own warning cause he was roid raging in the dugout over every strike call Eyanson got in the first 10 pitches of the game. The two (strike calls and pitcher/Jordan) are not related.

Their entire team was on tilt following the lead of the douchebag who was fussing all week long about every perceived slight.

This was an incorrect assumption by the ESPN crew. Morrison was upset about his communication piece not working, not our third base coach. The catcher confirmed this during the post game press conference

Nah. Video evidence showed after the top of the first you can see Morrison pointing at Jordan when he ran by.

The media asked the catcher what happened after the 2nd inning. Media had their timeline mixed up. Something definitely according top of the 1st.

This. If you want to fire the kids up, let the 1st base coach get run.

But that's not how Schnall is wired. Every encounter is a bar fight. Consequences be damned.

Something definitely was said to Jordan by CC. He kept looking back towards their dugout as he was running back to ours

We all have eyes, it was clearly about Jordan. They downplayed a ton of stuff in the pressers after they lost both games and the tone changed quickly.

sometimes ignoring someone is the best way to get back at them. Jordan did a great job.

Morrison was clearly frazzled from then on. The pitch communication thing was crazy bc it didn’t appear to be broken bc he kept the same one he had if I remember correctly before eventually going to the watch.

Well if it was the coach's idea to wear black jerseys in the hottest game of the year, he should have gotten booted earlier.
