Going early September. Open to other areas as well but not too far from Nola. Like not Venice for example.

These three are great options in that area. Most offer lodging. Bayou Slam is a great place to stay if you need just lodging.

All on social media to look up contact info Big Eaux Charters (Britt Ordes), Reel Excitement (Jonathan Sanchez), Bayou Charters (Charlie Thomason)

They have two camps across the street from their boathouse that you can rent. You just walk across the street in the morning and hop on the boat.

At one time, yes, 100%.

Made a lot of trips w Charlie and his guides over the year. Not anymore if you want trout. Now, he and his guides only want to focus on reds. If you insist they’ll make a slight effort on trout, but their focus is reds. And you’re headed in by 10:30-11 no matter what is going on.

This is what I am actually most worried about, and why I asked for recommendations. I've run into this before, especially since I live in Dallas now they think I don't know better and halfass the trip just catching a few reds.

Nola sight fishing . Been multiple times including last week with Justin collision. Hit the trout pretty good. Patriot lodge across street also to stay.

I actually had a similar experience last time I went on a charter trip with his outfit. The guide was not too happy we wanted to go after trout, and we caught none. As soon as we got out where we were trout fishing and knew it just was not going to happen, the guide made no change of plans.

I've heard same about him. He runs out for snapper also it looks like. That's got to be a run from where he is in Hopedale
