It's going to be a cramped July for the blockbusters can't imagine that this won't hurt each movie in some capacity at the box office

Jurassic World: Rebirth July 2nd
Superman July 8th
Fantastic Four July 25th

Rebirth. Superman and F4 will top out in the 700 range. I will say that I'm a bit surprised by how little hype there is for Rebirth. Maybe Dominion will end up hurting it.

That POS Man of Steel made 500 mil against its budget.

Batman V Superman made 870 box office.

I imagine more parents tske their kids to this version of Superman than Snyders dog shite films.

I’d say that one hits a billion.

I'm guessing Superman. The Jurassic Park movies have just gotten so bad and F4 is another woke abomination.

Still dinosaurs though.

Dominion was dogshit and still surpassed $1 billion worldwide.

Kids will always flock to dinosaurs.

I obviously could be wrong but this would be shocking to me. Jurassic will have a big weekend then sink like a stone.

Superman will have legs

Like I said, I don’t see how it could be worse than Dominion and that broke $1 billion globally.

It will rely HEAVILY on initial reviews.

If they aren’t glowing at launch, it will get cut off at the knees.

Completely agree. I think a lot of people are overestimating Superman. There's reports out there that test screenings were nothing special. I hope it succeeds because I do want to see his DC Universe, but I'm not gonna be surprised if it ends up being a mediocre finish.

Superman is tough.

You have to walk that fine line of making him relatable while still being overpowered.

Superman Returns had a great actor in Roth, but walked too far away from the “powerful” aspect of Superman and relied too heavily on the emotional.

Man of Steel went somewhat in the other direction, where they rejected the humanizing aspect of Superman for the overpowered action.

It’s a tough balance.

This one, easily. Modern, mindless dipshit audiences will always flock to see big monsters smashing shite.

This.

Superman looks like the most kid-friendly superhero movie in years.
Jurassic films are hit and miss and miss.
FF has had such a bad track record, it'll have to get a ton of good word of mouth.

Warner Brothers are promoting Superman like there’s no tomorrow. It was on the ice for the Stanley Cup for goodness sakes. Whereas it felt like Disney could’ve done more to promote Fantastic Four during the NBA Finals

Opening weekend, sure, but to have great legs it needs strong word of mouth. We also don't know how it's trending internationally. To get anywhere close to a billion (or even 800-900) it needs to perform big overseas. Domestic will very likely tap out in the 300 range.

I don’t think F4 will do well honestly.

Preview came on for it in the theatre and there were audible groans and sighs from people in the seats. Did not look interesting at all.

Probably. All the Jurassic movies, regardless of quality, seem capable of printing money.

Superman will depend a good bit on fan reactions for longevity, but admittedly I am not sure how it will do opening weekend. As the first superhero movie in a long while I am interested in, I will probably go see it.

Fantastic Four I will likely go see, just to see how well it does and how well it does but the first few reviews I've seen have me second guessing that. If this movie had come out 5 years ago, I'd say it was almost assured of $1B globally - now I'm not 100% sold it will make back its budget. I hope it's as good as the initial trailers made it out to be, but who knows.
