It's all easy to get to. Omaha does not have any big traffic issues even before or after a game.
We stayed further west then Aksarben in West Omaha in 23 and had no big issues getting into and out of downtown.
There are huge parking lots around the stadium so parking is easy.
That being said Council Bluffs is where the casinos are if that's in your game plan.

I’m at the Ameristar in Council Bluffs. $11 and 8 minutes to Uber to the ballpark.

Oh, I know. You are thinking of Carter Lake, IA, which is just around that old oxbow by the airport. There is a landlocked piece of Iowa inside of Nebraska.

That's probably what I was thinking of. I lived in the Old Market Lofts for a little bit and could see the bluffs from my window

I’m about 45 to 50 minutes later than the fan because of my postgame stuff, but I haven’t had any issues.

Yeah, I have had no issue there either. I booked at the Hampton Inn Midtown-Aksarben for four nights. After points it was like $200. Comes with breakfast and I can Uber to downtown for about $10-15 or go with a buddy. I am just there to put my head down to sleep, not loiter the parking lot.
