Remember when Jones spent all of his morning hitting at sliders and the results paid off with a timely homerun to end his slump? How about we get Braswell some of that kind of batting practice?
I don't know if I saw correctly, but has he had only one hit in the last 67 at bats? I don't do drugs...at least not the illegal ones, but I think I saw this stat flash on ESPN yesterday. If true, that is INSANE!

Totally agree. He should definitely start practicing hitting.

More than likely his baseball career is coming to an end if he could at least practice and focus that would be very grateful.

Braswell is not touching anything outside or off speed. Definitely needs a Jay Johnson talk.

That's just foolish. Reaves isn't hitting well and his defense is well below par. In championship games, you can't take that chance. He doesn't offer enough at the plate to make up for his defense. I believe Musso said he hasn't had a hit since April 12th or somewhere around there.

Braswell is certainly struggling at the plate, but his defense has saved us more than a few runs just in the CWS alone. If you really need the offense, I can understand a late inning pinch hit, but even then I'd go someone like Larson, Pearson or Brown and then put Reaves in at 3rd.

I think y'all aren't looking at the bigger picture, which isn't surprising.

His defense is keeping him in it and he has had some great snags of started timely double plays this post season. I’d like to see him at least move to the 8 spot. Rather give the top of our lineup a better chance with runners on than an extra out.

The man has terrible mechanics... when he swings the bat he's looking in left field.

Unfortunately Braswell is an automatic out.

Hope that changes Saturday.

I'm still believing that Braswell comes through clutch before we win it all.

Braswell's solution is simple and is as old as baseball..... quit trying to pull everything and watch the ball.... it's not that complicated...

You’re not allowed to point out how bad he is on the rant. Idiots here get butthurt. It seems like he is putting no effort in the cages trying to get better. Good news is only 2 or 3 games left with him.

Man that was a terrible attempt all the way around! Reached down at the dirt and dropped the barrel head is horrible technique and decision. The only reason to go after that one is if it was a bunt-n-run call and you have to do your job.

LSU and the collegiate level overall I'm always blown away by how many failed bunts we see.

I don’t think people are getting butthurt if you suggest he is struggling massively at the plate. But…

This is what people are getting upset about. There is no need for this comment and makes you look like a moron who just started watching baseball.
