Anyone know a music school or somewhere the deals with kids to donate some instruments?

I have some old (inexpensive) gear I don't feel like trying to sell and was thinking maybe it could be of use ot kids or something. Looking mainly in the BR area but no opposed to other places.

My 8 year old takes drums and guitar lessons at BR Music Studios. We don’t personally need anything but I would be happy to meet up and pick up and get them to Doug. I know he is always open to accepting and distributing items like this.
