I'd really like to see Cooper Williams get the start with Evans ready to bail him out if he isn't finding the zone out the gate.
Noot is probably your guy if you get fvcked and have to play Arkansas in an elimination game tonight.

Noot should only pitch if their backs are up against the wall in an elimination game, or if the game goes extra innings and he is all that is available.

If we don’t win today without Evans so he can throw the lions share of the innings in our game 3 then winning this tournament becomes unlikely.

I usually have some sort of confidence in who Jay is going to run out there. But I honestly have no idea who he is going to run out there. I think hes trying to save Evans and Noot for another potential game tonight. I also think he likes that Cowan usually sits low in the zone to either get swings and misses or ground balls. I think Cooper and Cowan are going to be the 2 arms getting the first crack at it. But I do know that Jay likes Coopers matchup with Arkansas too...Eyanson not being able to go 6 innings really puts a damper on this thing.

not sure if Cooper is a good matchup vs arkansas,even though Kade carved them up,they're still known to hit lefty better than righty,which seems rare.

I like Noot and think he will play a role before we leave Omaha, but go with Evans today and do everything you can to stay in the Winners Bracket.
If you do, then Noot and others are there for the next game with a game cushion backstopping them while our top 3 recover.
