Why doesn't CBS have the US Open?

Whenever CBS sports covers something its 2nd to none. Especially the Masters.

I can't deal with Jim Nantz's shmaltziness on every major.

Just the fact Spaun is a little darker than the average pro golfer means Nantz would have taken a money shot on 18.

CBS, minus Nantz, does a superb job. Nantz gets more corny and cheesier as time goes on. Give me NBC’s coverage on all the majors. Dan Hicks and Mike Tirico are master class.

NBC coverage is fine, they just take way too many commercials and them clearly begging for Scheffler to have a chance was quite annoying.

Only NBC issue was that the Friday morning coverage was on Peacock/NBC sports instead of USA like the Thursday. Just let people drink coffee and watch golf on cable.
