That is damn efficient in a 9 inning game against those bats. Pretty special performance all things considered. Double plays were giant. Pearson beating out a double play was giant.

Yep, a few little things made the difference in this game: an outfielder slightly misjudging a ball, a throw to the plate cut off, our pitchers fielding their position better than theirs did, Dickinson recovering twice on "almost errors."

A quote from Scott Rabalais

Anderson’s standout performance along…
“with some straight gas in the eighth from Chase Shores — pitches in the 99-101 mph range that turned the Razorbacks into cochon de lait — and another beyond-his-years ninth inning from freshman Casan Evans did the trick for LSU.”

LSU's small ball. Dickinsons bunt in particular and Stanfields sequential hit.

Everyone contributed. May have stuck out 5 times, but Bear made some nice plays at first too.

I noticed we didn’t get the usual bitching about bunting since it was successful.

The minimum is 27 (9 innings x 3 outs per inning)

According to AI: The average number of plate appearances for the home team in a 9-inning complete NCAA baseball game is approximately 38.5. It is significant that a very strong Ark lineup would miss out on nearly one entire pass through their lineup.

Yep.

Small ball is the rule in Omaha this year. Dickinson's bunt was perfection.

There were some great scoop and hustles to the bag to beat the runner by the Bear as well

A bunch of those at bats were quick as well. The bottom half of several innings lasted about as long as a commercial break.
