Last night was "pride night" for the Dodgers and they and the Giants wore "pride" themed rainbow logos on their ballcaps for the game. But Clayton Kershaw decided that he wasn't just going to go along with it.
The team made him wear a gay rainbow? No problem. He just took a white sharpie and co-opted, or reclaimed, the rainbow for God.
Kershaw wrote a scripture reference, Genesis 9:12-16 on his rainbow hat.
Here are those verses from the NASB '95:
God said, 'This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. It shall come about, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud, and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh. When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.'
Yep, the rainbow belongs to God as a reminder of when he made war with a fallen world, wiped it out except for Noah and his family, and hung his bow of war in the sky to remind us of his covenant with Noah.

The rainbow, which is a literally stated to be a gift from The Creator letting us know he will never flood the Earth again and for thousands of years was a sign of beauty, innocence, children and happiness, being co-opted by the cultural Marxists is all you need to know about their true intentions and what is actually behind it all.

I love it! That’s awfully ballsy of Kershaw. Good thing he’s an established veteran. Even so, he’s going to have some questions to answer from the media, aka alphabet people apologists.

Rainbow belongs to God, and the gays better be grateful it is and the promise it stands for.

I hate that kershaw is a dodger. He’s a stand up guy.

I could not imagine any human being forcing me to wear that gay shite to play baseball.
It’s bad enough the college guys have walk up songs and sliding mits.

The NHL players a few years ago refused to wear them.

Guess god really took thou shalt not kill with the “words for thee, not for me” mentality

People are growing balls now. I like it. They know it’s just the fringe that cancels. People are getting courage to tell them to get bent.

God is the great King and creator, and all sin is treasonous against the King. Justice demands death for such law-breaking, so how is God abiding by a different standard by putting to death those who break His law?
God has a special prerogative as King over all creation that other humans don't have, and yet He still is obligated to act according to His own holy character, which is reflected in the moral law as expressed in the 10 commandments.
Since no human being is innocent of sin, all deserve the justice of death. Therefore God is not unjust for taking the lives of His own creation, but to the contrary, is executing justice.
It's actually God's mercy that was on display in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins, so that He could take on the penalty of our sins and give us everlasting life through faith in Him. You should consider that God is merciful, Jesus Christ died to forgive sins, and this life is not all there is.

Last year at my planet Fitness the staff got a box of pride shirts to wear in June. Everyone of them refused and threatened to quit and contact local media. PF management folded. This year everyone is wearing the plain old PF purple shirt.

I was once given a cap to wear at a tournament in June. I accepted the cap and simply put white tape over the rainbow (It was a white cap, so the tape wasn't obvious). When asked why I did that, I told my boss that I don't support the gay agenda, and that was that.
She knew I had always been professional in my dealings with all of my co-workers, and I would continue to do so. No anger, no hostility, no disrespect, no drama.
That was the one and only time we were ever asked to do such a thing.
