Is Hansen’s Sno-Bliz still considered the best snowball in NOLA?

Been there many times as a child. Recently went back. I had almost forgotten how good Ernest’s machine makes the ice. Still tops for me.

Droopy's seems to be the viral spot to go to.

We took the kids early so we missed the huge lines...thankfully. Solid snowballs.

Just went recently. Unpopular opinion but I found the snoball a tad bland and muted.

Hansen’s is the best - but not “wait an hour in the heat for a $7 snowball” better than the rest. Best time to go is when it’s raining.

which is crazy. Droopys has been around for almost 40 years. They've always had great ice and syrups

Do they have long lines everyday now, or just whatever day they have their special of the week?
