You're getting downvoted, but I see no refutes.
It's hard to justify what Trump has said vs. what Trump is now doing. And yes, I understand that Congress writes the bills and it's the only way Trump can get even a little piece of his agenda passed... but the optics are certainly terrible.

Frankly, I don't even have an inherent issue with Trump yielding to the realities of politics to try and get some stuff done.
But it's just amazing that nobody in MAGA will admit that and explain it to the people who put them there. Instead, posters here will just ignore the years they screamed CUCK! TRAITOR! at anyone who talked about the things that Trump is doing right now.

Well there are plenty of receipts of this very thing being explained to them last year during the Gaetz-McCarthy fiasco, so I imagine they would rather fight on the lie to avoid the confirmation of hypocrisy.
