And it's not like Elon can be trusted not to work against us on ideology either.
I think Elon truly does value some libertarian ideals, so hopefully he wouldn't ever stray too far from that...but stuff like immigration, some cultural issues, etc. - I could see him being quite flexible on that stuff.
