So we have Evans, Cowan, Primeaux, Fontenot, Ware and Benge available?

Ideally we can lean mostly on Evans and Cowan. The rest of the group does not inspire me with great confidence. I’m particularly concerned about the ability of these pitchers to throw strikes.

This Little Rock team is playing free and with a lot of confidence. They have nothing to lose. If it was any other team besides LSU they were playing I would cheer for them. I love the underdog story.

Hopefully LSU brings the best version of itself tonight and Little Rock reverts back to the team that lost 13 out of the last 14 regular season games,

Schmidt will be available too. Pitching wasn’t even why we lost last night. Had we done anything after the first inning offensively, Cowan and/or Evans pitch last night and we’d be talking about WVU next weekend. That 8th inning doesn’t go down like it did if we didn’t need to save arms for today.

11 walks, 7 of those reaching home, was a big reason why we lost. And that's on pitching.

You won't win many games in baseball walking 11.

Everybody outside of Anderson can go imo. Even the guys last night, may be an out or so.. but it’s all hands on deck

They had 6 runs through 7 innings. The fact that our offense couldn't muster but 1 run the 2nd through the end of the game against game 4 pitching for Little Rock is why we lost. Had we done anything, Jay doesn't make the moves on the mound he did. Mayers and Rizy are responsible for 5 of those 11 walks in the final 2 innings. Neither of those dudes pick up a baseball last night if we could score any runs

If we don't score double digit runs on what they have left, that will be the bigger issue.

Primeaux is definitely available. He’s thrown about an inning during this regional

One reason Jay Johnson gave for starting Eyanson on Friday was that he thought he could go again on Monday if necessary. For how long? I don’t know.

Hitting and Pitching crapped the bed last night. Noot and Shores both looked like they had never been on a pitcher's mound before. Batters forgot it is ok to get runs with 2 outs. LOL

Shores, Noot and Rizy could all face a batter or two if needed. Hopefully they won’t be, but I think Shores or Rizy could just come in and throw gas to get one guy and not have enough time to melt down again.

Hopefully we just need Evans and Cowan. Maybe Fontenot. The others need to hit the portal after the season.

Wow, what a take. We literally walked a season high and at least 7 of them fricking scored runs. Our walks lead directly to them getting the lead instead of as few as 2 runs by the end of the 3rd. How in the frickING frick is that not on pitching? Did you even watch the game?

We had 11 hits and had no issues getting on base over the first 6 innings. We just didn't come through with RISP. That and the walks are your ballgame. Period.
