Did anyone catch the Little Rock pitcher, Malcom Brown, laughing at Bear after he struck him out? It was right after they intentionally walked Curiel to bring Bear to the plate. And as many of us, Tiger fans, were expecting...Bear went into hibernation and struck out.
That's the kind of attitude opposing teams are showing lately when it comes to Bear's prowess at the plate.
My, how the mighty have fallen!

I'd laugh too

Bear during this slump might be the worst hitter I've ever seen

I mean, it is funny.

I think I could strike out Jones right now and I couldn't break 80MPH.

These kids were told LSU was great and unbeatable, and they made them look like fools all night. Give them their due.

Bear has to learn to make contact. Not everything has to be a 400 ft homer run. Good things happen when you just make contact Good news is he should come back next year.

Jones returned to LSU to work on being more of a contact hitter so he could get drafted higher this year. I don’t think it worked out like he hoped it would.

Hell no it isn't. I don't ever recall Beloso being a huge MLB prospect, and he did some great things at LSU.

A job at MMR right out of college is great. Good for him.

That’s not good news, I’m not excited to watch him play another season. He’s always completely folded against good competition or in high leverage situations and I’m tired of hearing about the guy because he can hit BP 700 feet in practice or go 4/4 with 4 HR’s against Nicholls. If he doesn’t show up and show out today he needs to be forced to go pro and move on, we need someone who can actually play in his spot next year. Physical talent is only so valuable

If jones leaves, the first thing they will tell him is to immediately stop all that back bending crap.
It’s completely throwing his batting out of whack. I watched it closely last night.
He is bent so far back, and then he has to gather himself back up right, establish the pitch he sees, and try to make contact. It’s a completely unnecessary thing to add to an at bat. And not working. It’s ridiculous we have not figured this out. Not to mention braswell swinging for the moon. That has been all season.

Jones needs to take a page out of Curiel's playbook. Hit for contact. Get on base. Put pressure on pitching. Then the pitchers will throw you some mistakes.

I'm no coach, but Jones needs to be moved back in the order... Dude is slumping bad, especially with Curiel being on a hot streak.
